It's not that I have a lot to say, but it's been 5 months since I updated this journal, so here it is...


I bought an apartment. Actually, it will be completely mine when I'm old and gray, but that's the way it is. Until then, I'll own a loan
Still haven't moved in, because the building isn't completely finished, but I should be moving during the winter. Can't wait! My girlfriend already picked the tiles for the bathroom and kitchen, now we should be scanning the furniture stores


Today was my 50th time. Feels good. Most of you reading this are young and healthy - go and do it. There's no reason to be afraid, and you're saving lives by doing it.


The postman came by today and brought the new album and EP by Mogwai. It's called "The Hawk Is Howling" and EP is "BatCat". Now I'm watching the vinyl spin and I'm happy. So are my loudspeakers

I suggested a few photos to gallery directors for a Daily Deviation over the last couple of months. And this was the first to get accepted:


Well, I think it deserved it, and I hope that this is just a start for ~fotouczniak. A very small gallery with only 3 photos, but they're top class.

Do you suggest DD's?


I planned a short outing tomorrow - I took a day off work, planned to go to Lonjsko polje like I did last year, but it looks like weather won't be on my side...


Yes, I just went through the first roll of b/w film in my life 2 hours a go! And then I unloaded it, and in complete darkness put in a roll of infrared film Hopefully the weather will be OK and I'll be able to make a few shots with it
If you don't see any results in the next month or so, it will mean that it was a complete disaster so don't ever mention it!

I just had my Sony DSC-F717 fixed - the CCD needed to be replaced. A well known error on this and many many other models by Sony and other manufacturers that use their sensors. I noticed that it wasn't working when I picked it up to sell it. It's a good thing that Sony is aware of this problem and fixes it for free, so it cost me nothing, and if you buy it from me, you don't have to worry that you'll have that problem!
I used it exclusively for infrared photography, so I can throw in the filters you need for that if you're interested. I converted a Canon G2 for IR, so I don't use this camera any more.
I'd try selling through eBay, but we cannot receive money through PayPal here in Croatia, and I'm not really into bank transfers, so I'm doing it this way. If any of you are interested, please send me a note and let's see what can be done. If you'd like to trade - I am looking for a Canon EX flash, a decent prime, maybe a film body that takes Canon EF lenses etc. If you'd like to buy - check the completed auctions on eBay to see how the prices are going, and make an offer.
